The competition has two (2) categories:

| Individual | 1 person | Age 12 and above | 378 pieces | 1 hour 45 minutes |
| Family/Group | 2 – 4 members | No age limit, can be mixed generation | 504 pieces | 2 hour 30 minutes |
Participants for the family category under the age of 12 are allowed as long as they are competing with at least one teammate over 12 years old.
